The Irish FA continues to build on significant achievements in recent years and successes have brought into focus the positive impact that football continues to have across Northern Ireland society. There are many interesting developments within the organisation that it believes will achieve even more at international, domestic and grassroots levels.

The ongoing work at the Irish FA Football Academy is a vital component of the development and enhancement of the organisation. The Head of the Academy will lead the further development of the Academy and play a critical role nurturing the next generation of elite players.  This is clearly a most important role within the senior leadership team.

This unique opportunity requires and impressive leader with a strong track record of success in youth development or youth education within professional football.  You must have a valid UEFA Pro License, bring a detailed understanding of coaching philosophies and have the credibility to influence and represent the organisation with a wide variety of stakeholders including FIFA and UEFA.

In this role, you will provide inspirational leadership at every level with a remit that encompasses talent identification and the provision of coaching for elite footballers at various stages of development.  You will set an impeccable standard for your coaching staff and create an environment and culture where footballers thrive and are supported to reach new standards that will give them an opportunity to compete at the highest levels.
